WHAT ARE DENTAL SEALANTS?

Dental sealants are clear or tooth-colored coatings made of resin. We paint the sealants on the teeth, and they act as a protective cover for your teeth, stopping food debris from getting stuck and blocking bacteria. This helps prevent cavities from developing.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR GETTING DENTAL SEALANTS?

Dental sealants can be applied in a single appointment. We will clean your teeth, and then use a solution on the parts of your teeth you use to chew. We will then pain the sealant on the grooves on top of your teeth and harden the sealant with a curing light.
